Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center intensifies its strategic partnerships within its efforts to keep pace with “The year of Giving”, declared by the president of UAE, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan: (May Allah Protect Him), and further promote its role as a beacon of refinement and intellect   in the UAE, the region, and worldwide.

The Center attributed such partnerships to its constant strive to keep up with the countries wise leaderships vision towards supporting “the Year of Giving”, andenhances its role in the community, and support these entities to focus on effective notions of social responsibility, and specifically; the privet sector that is considered a vital partner of the government inthe process of comprehensive development.

In realizing the objectives and focusses of the Year of Giving” represented in consolidating the culture of social responsibility, The Center within “The Clouds of Giving” project, recently, collaborated with 19 entities from both public and privet sectors; with Abu Dhabi Armed Forces Officers Club, and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Emirates Transport, VPN Health Care, and NMC Health care in the lead.

H.E Yousef Al Obaidli, Director General of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center, ascribed the record number of partnerships to the Centers constant strive and efforts to keep pace with UAEs wise leaderships visions, under the leadership ,of the president of UAE, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan: (May Allah Protect Him), who announced The year 2017 will be the "Year of Giving" , and the wise directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum who stated that “The Year of Giving’s’” goal is to achieve prosperity for both the nationals and the nation ,and consolidate the notion  of selfless giving to the community amongst  individuals and instantiations.

“The Centers initiatives and various partnerships coinciding with “The Year of Giving “, are in fact a representation of its namesake, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who’s name is proudly associated with notions of giving and generosity.”  He Added.

Alobaidli noted that the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, to achieve optimal levels of corporate work that is based on investing in all expertise, skills and capacities in its programs and activities, to support and prompt the development of humanitarian, welfare, and volunteer work in line with the Centers strategic plan.

He also adds that the partnership with 19 entities reflects the Centers high sense of social responsibility, while also commenting that “the progress, development, and sustainability of any economical task or activity is predominantly subject to the extent in which it contributes towards the development of its surrounding community, and its participation in the economical, humanitarian, cultural, and intellectual development.

H. E Yousef Al Obaidli also revealed the details of these partnerships, by stating that: “they are many and branched, and related to a number of initiatives and projects implemented by the Center in “The Year Giving” within its “Clouds of Giving” project during the holy month of Ramadan, by offering the worshipers and visitors with upmost service and care, and offering them medical care services during their presence at the mosque through a Medical Clinic, prayer Chairs, Wheelchairs,..etc

Al Obaidli expressed his pride towards the collaboration of various bodies with the Center, out of a high sense of responsibility, especially; the Abu Dhabi Armed Forces Officers Club that is amongst the entities that supports the Centers efforts through preparing the Iftar meals throughout the holy month, within “Our Fasting Guests” project, as well as contributing 30000 drinking water boxes within “The Year of Giving” initiatives. Besides VPS Health Care that provided 60 wheelchairs and NMC Medical Care that provided 25 wheelchairs to serve the elderly, and the families of those with high determination (special needs) worshipers and visitors.

He also added that Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), has also  offered qualitative support towards “The Clouds of Giving” project, which  reflects it's cooperate values, as part of  the its  various and innovative initiatives  .

Similarly, Emirates Transport also provided a number of club cars to assist the elderly, and the families of those with high determination (special needs) mobility with great ease and comfort from the parking areas to the mosque halls.

He also mentioned a number of institutions and companies that effectively contributed towards supporting the Centers efforts to serve the worshipers and those fasting during the holy month of Ramadan such as , Yas Perfumes Company, Lulu International Group , Arab Furniture Company, Al Mulla Manufacturing Industries, Al Majura Paper Industries, Vodco Holding, Amigo Advertising, Graphic International, H-Productions, Al Baddad International Group, Emirates Paper Manufacturing Company, Quinx Pencil Factory, Hartz Integrated Systems and Al Hamra Trading.

The Director General of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center, concluded by stating that” The Center will continue to work side by side with national institutions, to contribute towards the society’s development, and also in shaping moderate individuals in all realms, with increasing worshipers and visitor’s satisfaction level continuing to be our strategic goal. "
